Prescriptions
How can we help you today?
Harptree + Cameley Surgeries are pleased to announce that our new Pharmabox 24/7 Prescription Collection Machine is up and running and will be available to use for all our dispensing patients at Cameley Surgery from 1st September 2025.
The Pharmabox allows patients to collect their prescriptions at a convenient time even outside of Surgery hours, 24/7.
It gives you instant access to your medication without having to queue and avoiding a wasted journey.
A text alert will be sent to you when your prescription is available in the machine. Simply enter the pin number sent to you on the easy-to-use keypad. If you usually pay for your prescriptions upon collection, you will be prompted to pay the prescription charge before the machine releases your prescription.
Please note: If your exemption status changes at any point, you must let a member of the dispensary team know so that we can update our records accordingly and help you avoid a prescription fine from the NHS Business Services Authority.
To sign up: All you need to do is come into the dispensary to complete a consent form, any prescriptions requested after this will be available to collect from the vending machine.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Prescriptions for the Pharmabox will not be issued automatically every month. When you have collected your prescription, it will be your responsibility to request your next one. We have a 3-working day turnaround for all prescription requests, so please make sure you order your prescription within enough time before you run out. Any prescriptions that are requested too early will either be queried or declined, please keep this in mind.
Requesting a repeat prescription: You can do this easily via the NHS App, via email on bswicb.harptreesurgeryprescriptions@nhs.net , or via telephone on 01761 221406 during our dispensary opening hours of 12pm-1pm & 4pm-5pm on weekdays. Alternatively, you can drop your repeat slip down to the surgery when convenient.
