In a life-threatening emergency call 999 or go to the Emergency Department. Our closest Emergency Departments are located at the Royal United Hospital in Bath or the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
If you need to see a GP - evenings and weekends
If you need to see a GP and your problem is too urgent to wait until the surgery is open, please call 111 or use 111 online to request an ‘out of hours’ GP appointment. The GP service runs all night and every weekend, 365 days a year. You can also use this service if you have run out of medication and cannot wait until our dispensary is open.
Minor injuries and urgent care
Paulton minor injuries unit: If you have an injury such as a sprain, cut, or minor burn you can visit Paulton MIU without an appointment. This is a nurse / paramedic led centre. For more information and opening times, visit their website or call 01761 412315.
South Bristol Urgent Care Centre (Hengrove): The Urgent Treatment Centre is a nurse and paramedic -led walk-in centre dealing with minor injuries such as sprains, strains or scalds, as well as minor illnesses. For more information and opening times, visit their website or call 0300 124 6260.
