Opening Times
When the surgery is closed
You can access a GP at any time if you need one by calling NHS 111. The 111 operators will put you through to the local Out-of-Hours (OOH) GP service.
The GPs and nurses who work for the OOH service are mainly local, although they may work for a different GP practice. The operator will arrange for you to speak or see a doctor or nurse, or arrange a home visit if this is necessary, depending on what you need. This service works with us to provide GP services, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
For further information about this service please use the NHS website at www.nhs.uk/111/
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
